The Angel Inn, The Windmill Inn, The Tiger Inn
The Angel Inn in Chapmangate appeared as a let in a 1796 Hull newspaper and Mr Linton links it to its changed name of the Windmill Inn of 1823. The Windmill Inn in Chapmangate is first mentioned in Baines 1823 Trade directory, it seems to have again changed it's name to the Tiger Inn in 1825. It is not in the 1861 census, so it must have disappeared around 1860.
